Capitalism – Commercializing the World Wide Web
Trump’s Golden Age of America revolves around Capitalism. Whenever the Republican Party is in control, spending goes out of control, favoring the interests of the wealthy. Unfortunately, like Trump, most people believe that if the stock market is successful, then the economy is working for everyone. However, it is the wealthy and upper tiers of the middle class that determine where our tax dollars are allocated. They are determined to eliminate federal spending on programs that help others born with debilitating problems and who need assistance when hit with life life-changing misfortune.
During Trump’s time in office, corporate executives have been placed in high government positions based on their willingness to follow his direction, all seeking greater prosperity. Click on this link to better understand how President Trump has been helping himself and his politically connected friends at the expense of everyone else. During his first administration high-ranking appointees and cabinet members faced significant scrutiny and accusations regarding the abuse of taxpayer-funded travel privileges, primarily involving the use of expensive military and private charter jets for personal or non-essential travel.
With Trump’s Administration, loaded with business leaders, the internet has become more of a maze of commercialized search engines than a shared tool for scientific research. Internet search engines now steer you away from easily finding the information you seek, rather than serving as a tool for scientific research. I explained this in detail in my books, as well as the Posting Don’t Let Technology Control Us. Capitalism is driving the Golden Age of America by controlling how we spend our money.
While the wealthy grow in prosperity and power, the free enterprise system of government is destroying how we spend our free time for relaxation with incessant commercials. Why are we allowing giant corporations to not only bombard our minds with repetitive information, but also make us increasingly pay to eliminate or reduce these unwanted commercials? The cost of everything is going up while our government representatives are profiting from the development and usage of technological advancements that the Trump Administration is deregulating to a point of no return. The Golden Age of America is shining for those who can afford to pay for repetitive commercialism.
As my books point out, Trump’s use of Executive Orders centered around deregulation during his first term. His deregulation E.O.s are especially problematic now that wealthy corporations are no longer restricted on how they can intrude into our lives. Our sources of entertainment are constantly being upgraded for what they claim is for our benefit. Do you seriously believe this? Now that the Trump Administration is fully invested in the growth of Artificial Intelligence (AI), government regulation is imperative, ensuring that it is developed for all the right reasons and not for controlling how we think.
How many times must we agree to new terms of service for features we don’t want? These upgrades basically allow the provider to capture and profit from our personal information and activities. Worse yet, they want us to use features such as voice and facial recognition. How often do you experience new updates whenever you turn on your computer, laptop, tablet, mobile device, or TV service? This is not our golden age of America.
Data-collecting Supercomputers and Artificial Intelligence
Under Trump’s current leadership, our government has been determined to develop data-collecting supercomputers that focus more on gathering personal information than on scientific achievements and educational research. Supercomputers dedicated to artificial intelligence (AI) are high-performance systems specifically built to handle the data-heavy and model-focused tasks of modern AI. Click on this very interesting and important YouTube video on Colossus: The World’s Largest AI Datacenter.
Does this technology make America great again? The answer is yes and no, as this video on Colossus beautifully demonstrates. AI has been in development for over two decades and has now come into fruition. The research by technological giants of industry, such as Nvidia (Hardware) and Google (Software), that are responsible for these changes in our lifestyles, is great for our future only if controlled by strict bipartisan regulations. Trump’s Golden Age of America has certainly benefited these companies and their investors of which I am one.
Famed scientist Stephen Hawking spent his final years issuing a clear warning: humanity’s greatest technological triumphs could also become the forces that undo us. He saw artificial intelligence and climate change as issues that, without deliberate planning and strict control, their benefits could be concentrated in the hands of a few. He also feared that economic incentives all too often push developing companies and governments to deploy powerful systems as soon as they work. This results in not fully understanding what their side effects are, leaving safety research and regulation lagging far behind. See Hawking’s Last Inspiring Message To Humanity Before He Passed.
These are laws developed by Congress for our betterment. Not for massive inquiries into databases of our personal information and activities that are contained in restricted government agencies. Read this report from the Brookings Institution on Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) – One Big Beautiful Database. Judge for yourself if Trump’s newly created and expensive Federal Government department is a golden age of America for your family.
Look at what is now happening to the way our government is spending our tax dollars with annual budgets in the trillions (a thousand billion) of dollars. According to the Treasury Department, the U.S. National Debt has reached a record $37 trillion. This means that Interest on the national debt exceeds annual spending on Medicare, as well as national defense, according to the Pew Research Center. I detailed this two years ago in a Post titled: Capitalism, Inflation, and the Federal Deficit. Capitalism is driving the Golden Age of America, but Trump’s spending is out of control.
Trump Embraces Far-Right Fascism
Now is the time to take a serious look at what is happening with our government, which is undergoing radical changes under the guise of Nationalism. This is MAGA’s “America First” belief that is misunderstood and misdirected throughout social media. Please read this article about the MAGA Ideology and the Trump Regime. It is written from the view of a socialist believer on how billionaires are taking control over our lives. I know that most Trump supporters won’t read this highly referenced information, but for those with an open mind, this link should be saved for a lengthy discussion.
This article explains that major advisors in the MAGA movement have strategized in advance ways for President Trump to increase his authority over the Legislative and Judicial branches. He is now using this power to close down government offices, deny and redirect congressionally authorized spending, and do whatever he pleases. All the while ignoring the courts, based on the sheer power of the executive office and the proposition that whatever the president does is lawful.” This is Project 2025 created by the Heritage Foundation, which Trump claimed he knew nothing about during his 2024 campaign.
Nationalism is being proud of our country and loving life in America. Fascism is the control over our lives within our country that we are now experiencing under Trump’s leadership. Read how Keene State University defines Fascism. Print out a copy of these 16 characteristics to refer to when reading the following material on how Trump is using these ideals to control power and increase wealth. Read and understand his obsession with national security, crime, and retribution against his perceived enemies.
Trump has embraced various far-right viewpoints, including dismantling diversity programs and promoting an authoritarian nationalist agenda. He has hired individuals known for making racist or antisemitic comments, as well as those who supported the January 6 Capitol attack. Far-right supporters have praised Trump’s strict immigration policies, seeing federal raids on undocumented immigrants as a necessary action. But they don’t recognize the extreme measures that he is taking. My books demonstrate why his first administration predicted what he is doing if he were ever reelected as president.
Conservative media promotes the belief that Democratic metropolitan cities are hell holes of corruption and violence and that their “Woke” liberal leadership is totally responsible. These cherry-picked scenarios are misleading at best. However, they are not the norm but the result of sensationalized misinformation that allows Trump to have a reason to send the National Guard into primarily Democratic areas at great expense. These soldiers are forced to perform jobs that they loathe and are not trained to do. To get a better understanding, click on my posting, President Trump’s Promises, which I wrote six months ago.
Read in my book the background on how the first Trump administration encouraged nazi sympathetic organizations to promote his imaginary Stop the Steel campaign and take back America, to what? Storm the U.S. Capitol Building and completely stop Congress from finalizing our democratically held election of President Biden. There were groups of protesters who were seeking to cause bodily harm to his Vice President Mike Pence and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Trump expressed animosity toward both of them. Please read about how Trump abused the $250 million in recount funding that he raised after he lost his reelection in 2020 to Joe Biden.
Trump’s Usage of Our Military Defense Capabilities
When Trump was campaigning for the 2016 Presidential election, what appealed to me was his stance on being anti-war. He was going to end the wars in the Middle East and Asia (Afghanistan) that were created during the junior Bush Administration. Although he helped veterans in many ways throughout his first administration, he has also shown deep disrespect for military service, as well as for military commanders, who challenge his leadership plans.
As this article states, Trump has already tested the limits of a nearly 150-year-old federal law, the Posse Comitatus Act, that restricts the military’s role in enforcing domestic laws. You can see what he actually said in this YouTube video, then read this short article presented in the MilitaryTimes. He suggested the leaders in attendance could be tasked with assisting federal law enforcement interventions against an “invasion from within” Democratic-led cities, such as Chicago and New York City.
Also, click on this link and see the video and read the story by Emma Colton with Fox News. This was during his Asian trip to establish better relationships with our Allies, especially Japan, under their first female Prime Minister, Sanar Takaichi’s leadership. Strengthening our relationships with other countries is the best way to resolve world conflict.
This speech to the military aboard the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier George Washington in Yokosuka, Japan, on October 28, 2025, should be concerning to all of us. What better way to rally the troops than announcing he will be supporting an across-the-board pay raise for every sailor and service member in the United States armed forces? He also states that the U.S. is spending one trillion dollars on the military. America is so far in debt with spending that is out of control.
The part of his speech that frightens me is the hateful invectives he used in his speech. This article states that Trump boasted that: “When it comes to defending the United States, we’re no longer politically correct,” Trump said. “We’re going to defend our country anyway we have to. And that’s usually not the politically, politically correct way. From now on, if we’re in a war, we’re going to win the war. We’re going to win it like nobody ever before.”
Trump further states that George Washington created the very famous phrase ‘first in war, first in peace’, then added that this is exactly what our country is today. It’s first in war, first in peace, first in wealth, first in power, first in science, first in spirit and first in freedom.” However, we are not first in providing funding for the unfortunate people starving in South America and well as here at home. Trump’s Golden Age of America has no interest in their survival.
Unfortunately, here at home, we are at war among ourselves, and Trump has declared war against any nation that he doesn’t like what they are doing. When asked by a reporter if he ever considered capturing the alleged drug smuggling boats, his and his appointed Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, response is astounding. This does not indicate to the world that we are in the Golden Age of America.
Just think about how he is now intensifying his war on narco cartels by military strikes on ‘drug’ boats in the Pacific. On this link, War Secretary Hegseth declares that three separate lethal strikes on vessels carrying individuals trafficking narcotics, which killed 14 “terrorists” (drug runners), were known by our intelligence apparatus. What type of apparatus is he speaking about? Are these the same sources of information that he is using against foreigners living in America?
Even with winning the concession that Takachi plans to move the military defense spending up to match NATO’s 5% target by 2027, Trump suggested that Japan should pay for the around 60,000 U.S. troops in the region. Some Japanese officials who were with Trump were spooked by his thirst for payment directly to the U.S., where no one knows exactly where the money will be spent. Click on this link to see Trump’s full rally speech to the Navy, then read the fact-checking on all of the false claims he made. If listening to his full 55 minute meandering speech is too time-consuming, click on this YouTube link to see videos of reactions to Trump’s military speech.
As someone who has served in the military, rising from the enlisted ranks to the officer ranks, I know how differently you are treated depending on your position in life. The change from being in a position of having to take orders from everyone who is ranking above you, to one who can now give orders that must be followed, is a radical change in life. People that are born into wealth into wealth and those who have succeeded into having wealth does not mean you have the right to control those of lesser means. We are not in the Golden Age of America.
