Too Much Is Never Enough

For this puppy, who inherited far too many toys, believes that too much is still never enough. Too much is never enough.

Too much is never enough. That is the theme of Dr. Mary Trump’s book about her uncle Donald’s life growing up in the Trump family. She explains how he would try everything to please his father. Unlike his brother, Mary’s father, he wanted to succeed in his father’s real estate business. This is a very revealing story of his true character and business acumen, or lack thereof.

Donald Trump, the Business Icon

The way Donald Trump has managed his business empire should concern everyone because this is the way he is running the United States. My book answers the question of why, at least this businessman, shouldn’t control how our federal government functions on our behalf. Read in my new book edition tells how members of his staff talk about his extremely short attention span. If you don’t believe me, click on the above link that shows you why this is important for a President to listen to skilled military advisors and seasoned heads of state.

Donald Trump can be very charismatic when things are going well in his favor, and he generously rewards those who support his policies and practices, not with his personal finances, but by allowing them to be members of his resorts and attendees of his rallies and fund-raising campaigns. Trump will sell just about anything to raise money. This was especially true after he lost his reelection to President Biden.

He has made millions of dollars hawking merchandise. His thirst for wealth did not stop during his Presidential terms, even though this could very well be a serious conflict of interest. His policies as a politician are the same as is of a lifelong businessman who uses threats and the manipulation of rules and laws to get what he wants. His father supported him both financially and operationally, as Mary Trump’s book interestingly explains why too much is never enough for Donald Trump

Donald Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill

What conservatives thrive on is the belief that the economy soars when the Republican Party is in control. This is generally true, but you have to look at the “big picture.” That is, how the free market system of government creates excessive spending behaviors that affect the Federal budget, which is carried down to State and local governments. This encourages the American people to spend and borrow excessively. Read my research on the cause and effect of the 2008 financial crisis, also called the Great Recession. Are we headed toward another?

Look at what is now happening to the way our government is spending our tax dollars with annual budgets in the trillions (a thousand billion) of dollars. The One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) is now law. Click on this link on The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and understand how this is going to affect your future. It took over 100 years for our great nation to reach the trillion-dollar debt, which started when the GOP took control of our government. Then eight years later, President Obama was handed the problems that caused the Great Recession.

According to the Treasury Department, the U.S. National Debt has reached a record $37 trillion. This means that Interest on the national debt exceeds annual spending on Medicare, as well as national defense, according to the Pew Research Center. I detailed this two years ago in a Post titled: Capitalism, Inflation, and the Federal Deficit.

On July 4, 2025, Trump signed into law his ‘One Big Beautiful Bill,’ which implements his spending agenda. The Washington Post (mainstream media) published a story during this Holiday about how this massive spending and tax bill will affect all of us. In reading this well-written article by Julie Zauzmer Weil, Yasmeen Abutaleb and Jacob Bogage, I can see that it will be a tremendous accomplishment in the eyes of Conservative voters.

This bill benefits many Americans with its piecemeal subsidies that will help them in the short term. Conservative media will praise the new $6,000 deduction ($12,000 for a couple) for those 65 and older who earn as much as $75,000 per year (or $150,000 for a couple). But the provision would not benefit tens of millions of low-income seniors, and it would hasten the date by which the Social Security trust fund runs out of money. This only helps upper-middle-class seniors who are still earning a nice income while collecting Social Security. For the wealthy too much is never enough.

Current workers pay a tax of 6.2% in Old-Age, Survivors and Disability Insurance taxes, along with 1.45% in Medicare taxes. Combined, workers pay 7.65% of their income into Social Security up to a certain income amount. Even if someone is a millionaire or billionaire, they can still receive Social Security benefits if they have a qualifying work history. The maximum Social Security benefit at full retirement age is $4,018 per month in 2025. It’s $5,108 per month in 2025 if retiring at age 70 and $2,831 if retiring at age 62. This benefit does nothing for my family, who never had children, while both of us worked for over 40 years.

What causes the government to continually increase its annual budget projected over several years to increase so radically? Welfare programs (Socialism) are one main cause, along with our involvement in warfare. We created the problems in the Middle East during the George W. Bush administration, which became a never-ending response to the 911 terrorist attack. How much money is being spent worldwide on the Ukraine and Palestinian crisis today?

These expenses that are paid by our taxes that wealthy people see as being forced to supporting other people’s families. However, they are the ones that will get the biggest tax cuts from the bill by far. According to ITEP’s analysis, 72 percent of the value of the tax cuts will go to the top 20 percent of earners — those making more than $153,600 — and more than 20 percent of the cuts will go to the top 1 percent, those earning more than $916,900.

Democrats Mourn the Loss of Healthcare

Democrats will mourn the loss of healthcare provided to millions of senior citizens, including unfortunate individuals and their families who can’t afford private insurance. Although hospitals will try to serve those who need urgent medical care, they are already far too understaffed, due to reductions of Federal and State funding, created by Trump’s newly created DODGE task force.

The Big Beautiful Bill will slash about $1 trillion from Medicaid — the largest cut in the program’s history — and at least 17 million Americans are projected to lose health coverage or insurance subsidies that make coverage affordable, according to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office.

The measure imposes work and reporting requirements for the first time on Medicaid recipients whose income is from 100 percent to 138 percent of the federal poverty level (roughly $32,000 to $44,000 for a family of four). This may seem like a good thing as it forces people to seek employment at all costs. However, I don’t see this being carried out intelligently by Trump’s enablers.

Work requirements: The measure imposes work and reporting requirements for the first time on Medicaid recipients whose income is from 100 percent to 138 percent of the federal poverty level (roughly $32,000 to $44,000 for a family of four). This is also a priority of conservative philosophy, which could be a good thing if only federal and state governments worked together to better prosecute offenders instead of blaming the problem on democratic policy.

Tax credits will disappear for Immigrants: Filers who don’t have Social Security numbers — generally noncitizens — can no longer claim the child tax credit even if their child is an American. Nor can they benefit from tax code changes that lift taxation on tips and overtime pay, or certain education credits under the bill.

College students’ Education loans: The legislation repeals Biden-era student loan forgiveness programs. It also sets new repayment standards for borrowers, who make fixed payments for 10 to 25 years based on the terms of their loan. This was a program that was unfair for those who had paid back their loans. It is a fair provision

Under the means-tested plan, payments are between 1 and 10 percent of the principal, and borrowers can deduct $50 per payment for each of their dependents. Borrowers are rewarded for making on-time payments. Unpaid interest is waived, and the government will match $50 per payment on the loan principal. Any outstanding balance is forgiven after 30 years. The real problem is the cost of receiving an advanced education after receiving a high school diploma.

When our government wastes our tax dollars remodeling the White House to resemble Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate with its gaudy gold trimmings and expansive ballroom, then too much is never enough has gone too far.

What causes the government to continually increase its annual budget projected over several years to increase so radically? Welfare programs (Socialism) are one main cause, along with our involvement in warfare. We created the problems in the Middle East during the George W. Donald Trump’s Management Style

Unfortunately, many of his admirers have been caught up in some of his unconventional and all too often illegal machinations. Those who continue to protect him from personal culpability and all consequences are promised the full support of his ever-increasing Presidential powers. However, those who expose his abuse of Constitutional authority are subjected to severe retribution, not only by the power of his position as President of the United States, but by his most fervent and misinformed MAGA followers.

The more he gets away with dishonest behavior, the more dismissive he becomes of rules and regulations. My military experience taught me that a leader is only as successful as the people who perform the work for him. Read about the people he chose for leadership positions during his first term as president. Click on this link to get a detailed list of people granted Presidential Pardons and granted Executive Clemency in the first presidency of Donald Trump.

What people need to understand is that Trump’s Pardons of nearly 1,600 convicted criminals deprive victims and survivors of $1.3 billion in restitution and fines owed to them and American taxpayers, allowing corporate fraudsters and tax cheats to keep their ill-gotten gains. Trump is all about allowing people like himself to laugh at all the innocent people who are being deceived every day. Worse yet, our elected legislative representatives are doing very little to stop these scams.

Donald Trump’s Disregard for Rules, Regulations and Judicial Law

If you are willing to listen as to why he was impeached not just once, but even more importantly, an extremely deserving second time, then take the time to read this 2nd edition of Donald Trump’s Impeachment Problems. In his second term, he is gaining even more control over our lives by deliberately disregarding all rules and regulations that apply to every one of us. He does this by using others to carry out his excessive thirst for greater wealth and power. Too much is never enough for this man.

His methods of control include signing no disclosure agreements, pledges of allegiance, loss of employment, never-ending litigation and even threats of harm. This is a man who learned to use the judicial system to bully contractors and others into dropping lawsuits against him for failure to make final payments for services rendered that didn’t suit him. Donald Trump learned from his father’s lawyer, Roy Cohn, the notorious attorney used by Sen. Joseph McCarthy during the communist sympathizer investigation scare in the 1950s.

During his first term, Trump found his Roy Cohn type in William Barr and made him Attorney General. Read in my book how much Bill Barr bent to bail him out of trouble and helped him investigate political opponents. Now in his second term, Trump is doing whatever he wants, blatantly defying rulings that go against his overreach of executive authority. For Trump, too much is never enough to satisfy his need for unmitigated control.

Donald Trump’s Unilateral Decisions

Look closely at how he is making unilateral decisions that his appointees and political allies are helping him carry out. Innocent people are being arrested daily by his masked U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement  (ICE) government employees, reaching close to 1,200 arrests in one day. Click on this link explaining how massively expensive this overreach of Executive authority has become, and is enacted in a way that frightens innocent people, meaning everyone who is not considered a “real” American.

Trump is dictating how law enforcement is carried out. It’s not only about the unjustified ICE raids. He is dictating where and how aggressively the National Guard and our Armed Forces are being deployed, not just in the volatile Middle East, but also within our country and along our borders. He not only envied China’s military parades, but he also embraced the use of force that created the Tiananmen Square Massacre. This I wrote about previously, as part of my posting titled: President Trump’s Promises. Under the heading Immigration Control.

I had hoped that he would fulfill his promise to be a president who would not fight wars and would negotiate peace for the people living in Ukraine and the Israel-Palestine territories. So far, we have not seen a well-researched and meticulously planned approach being developed by his hand-picked staff to resolve these ongoing wars. How do the people living in these countries feel about our intervention in their problems?

Now, if you believe that his unilateral decision to drop bunker buster bombs on Iran’s nuclear facilities, without mandatory Congressional approval, then you don’t understand the consequences it will cause innocent people now and in the future. See this YouTube video on how this has affected the people of Iran and their lives in the future. What consequences will the American people face, both living abroad and within our own country?

You have to remember in his first term that Trump suspended the Iran nuclear agreement, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). It was a landmark accord reached between Iran and five permanent members of the UN Security Council (China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States) and Germany. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). had regular access to Iran’s declared nuclear facilities, including those at Natanz and Fordo. They conducted inspections, monitored enrichment levels, and collected environmental samples. All of that was dismantled by Trump’s suspicions that had no real basis.

Are we going to continue to allow the President to make life-changing decisions that affect all of our futures, knowing it will take years to fully understand and rectify these changes on how our government is now running solely on the desires of one man? He alone decides how our government spends the money that is supposed to “Make America Great Again”. Yet, the majority of us are heading toward the worst of times.

The purpose of my writing my books and this website is to stop the evils of history from repeating the tragic mistakes we made in the past. The theme picture of this Post shows my four-month-old puppy, which depicts someone who is not satisfied with all the toys that he has been given and is always looking for more things to play with and abuse.
