As control of our government changes from one Party to the other, our life situations drastically reverse over time. In the fifty-plus years of voting, I have never experienced such a rapid-fire disruption to the way I want to live my life. We hear from Republicans that Trump’s “promises made, promises kept” has been so great for America. Let’s talk about what Donald Trump is desperately trying to accomplish during his second term as President.
Trump’s claim that we are entering the “Golden Age of America” can be seen as not being a faithful promise to the American people. Two of Trump’s most prominent declarations, which Republican politicians glorify, are border security and wasteful government spending. These issues are only two of the numerous activities that need to be publicly debated because his administration is going about these goals without fully considering the consequences of these illegitimate Executive Orders.
Immigration Control
Eliminating the undulating problem at the Mexican border is an age-old problem that ebbs and flows like the waters that carry so many immigrants into our country. They are looking for sanctuary from their oppressive governments, which are destroying their lives. I now read that newly appointed Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has ordered the Pentagon to send 3,000 Stryker combat troops to the border. This is in addition to the 4,200 deployed under federal orders and about 5,000 National Guard troops.
In April, the Army did, in fact, deliver armored combat vehicles to the southern border ahead of Trump’s order. How much will this extreme government overreaction be costing us? Is this the most efficient use of our military capabilities? As the above article states, this was done even though Border Patrol agent Orlando Marrero-Rubio explains that southern border crossings have plummeted drastically since January. How is Musk’s newly created raging DOGE office plan to “efficiently” process the tens of thousands of immigrants who have been arrested without notice or justification?
In January of 2023, the Biden Administration sent 90 Stryker armored fighting vehicles to Ukraine, the first such transfer of the versatile eight-wheeled weapons from U.S. military stockpiles. In May of 2023, this donation of Stryker Vehicles operated by Ukrainian Paratroopers was effectively fighting Russian Infantry by attacking them from all directions. But what is the impact of Stryker vehicles at our southern border? It is best to see for yourself by watching on YouTube how these vehicles are being used.
Start with the video: Why armored Strykers designed for battle were deployed to southern border to get an idea of how the Army is trying to effectively carry out Trump’s plan for border security. Then watch some of the videos that show our military doing the best they can to carry out their ill-conceived mission. What I see is that we have increased military personnel and equipment spending, doing what drones are better equipped to do.
Trump Demands and Refuses Compliance
Donald Trump has chosen his 2025 administration in order to fulfill his grand desire to transform our government into the world’s greatest business enterprise. Who benefits the most from these predesigned changes that are documented in Project 2025’s Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise. He demands loyalty and imposes confidentiality agreements on all of his chosen staff and threatens all those who don’t comply. Yet, he refuses to comply with subpoenas and directives from the coequal Branches of our Government- Justice and Legislative. He got away with impeding the first House Impeachment investigation and again went on to defy compliance in his second Impeachment investigation.
This Project 2025 document was available to the public when Trump was still desperately running for reelection. However, this is not something voters would read, nor would Republican politicians dare admit to having any knowledge of its contents. Now that he has been elected President, he is vigorously implementing these Republican promises because it is designed to give him and the Executive Branch greatly increased power over the Legislative and Judicial Branches. Now he is defying all laws, regulations, and rules don’t apply to him. He has paid no consequences for abusing his Oath of Office.
Trump has already blatantly defied the legal restrictions that have been specifically created and implemented to prevent the President and the Executive Branch from creating a dictatorship. This is what he did during his first term by refusing to comply with subpoenas or provide requested documentation that was required for fully investigating the allegations of his abuse of power. This is how he was able to evade guilt during his two Impeachment investigations. Not only is he going after foreign immigrants, but also everyone who has tried to impede his thirst for power, wealth and recognition.
Wasteful government spending
Take a very hard look at the people he has appointed as his Cabinet members and administrative leaders. The books that I have written point out how, in his first Presidency, these personal appointments carried out his policies without question, despite legalities and well-established precedents. My books point out why so many of his appointments failed in their responsibilities, were criminally convicted, and were eventually rewarded for the crimes they committed by Trump’s liberal Presidential Pardons and Clemency. Now look at how his political appointees are carrying out his orders with a sickening vengeance.
These inexperienced individuals are willing to go so far as to destroy the lives of anyone and everyone who challenges Trump’s authority. This puts everyone in fear of being subjected to his thirst for retribution against those who challenge his authority. Those who don’t realize what this means for our future need to be awakened to reality. With appointee Elon Musk’s DOGE cuts being thoughtlessly implemented, the lives of tens of thousands of ‘real’ Americans are being heartlessly destroyed.
With the massive number of job losses, many of these people may lose their homes, as was the case with the foreign and domestic policies of the Bush/Cheney administration. Let’s not forget that this caused the Great Recession of 2008. This took eight years of political changes, with business restrictions being lifted by deregulation and foreign policies that led to our disruption of the balance of power in the Middle East and Central Asia.
The Free Market System of Government
The MAGA faithful exclaim, why not have a successful business icon run our government rather than someone who gives away their income tax payments for liberal causes that support foreigners? This belief is inadequately understood and also needs to be publicly debated. My books describe, over time in verifiable detail, the pros and cons of Capitalism vs Socialism. I rationalize how, in his first term as President, our lives have been drastically changed by the misuse of our technological achievements. All of which are designed for gross profit.
Unfortunately, today’s instantaneous methods of communication allow deceptive and extremely harmful misinformation to reach millions of listeners. We no longer believe in the importance of seeing news stories that are researched and verified by more than just one person. However, there are still some credible newspapers and TV news programs that use investigative reporters to verify the information they present.
Now we communicate over the Internet, which has developed into a World Wide Web of commercialized gossip. It is being used to further the interests of business executives who are creating massive databases of information that invade our lives with increasing intrusion and deception. As this article points out, we would be better off if our government invested in beneficial research. Do you not find that your emails are now filled with unwanted notifications that can be traced back to your specific internet search inquiries? Why do we allow major business corporations to use our government for their benefit over our desperate needs?
Watch how TV programming has drastically changed into a sea of advertisements and how the internet has turned from a research tool for the world to share into a massive search engine for personal information that can be used against us in enormously destructive ways. Pay particular attention to how we are constantly receiving updated licensing agreements on our cell phones and streaming devices. Giant corporations are forcing us to agree to have unwanted enhancements that we can’t refuse, or we will lose access to what we are already happy with.
With Artificial Intelligence algorithms (AI) searching rapidly growing databases, everyone becomes exposed to unwarranted retribution. Trump’s demanding DODGE appointees are gaining access to all of these databases, including those within our government, which record a deep dive into our lifetime of information. What is of particular concern to me is the potential abuse of voice and facial recognition. We already have had cases of people being spied on by predators using the cameras built into cell phones, computer monitors and laptops. AI development needs to be closely monitored and controlled.
AI is being developed to harvest every bit of personal information that it can access. Then it matches up people who want this information and are willing and able to pay for it. How they use this information is critically important and needs to be examined and restricted lawfully. AI research and development are also creating databases that improve physical and mental deficiencies, along with eliminating the spread of diseases. This is an extremely important reason for AI creation, but it is mainly privately funded or by existing federal grants, which the Trump-directed DOGE order is aggressively eliminating.
Using my personal information to match my needs and expressed wants or desires (video and voice captivated) with willing buyers is not OK. This AI usage requires intelligent debate and implementation in the way our Constitution was created. The Email that I have used efficiently for nearly two decades is now filled with so many unwanted solicitations, advertisements, requests for contributions and extremely convincing fraud that it has become worthless. My other, more closely guarded Email service is now showing signs of following the same fate.
With technology under control by a President who is obsessed with deregulation, and with his business executives placed in Government Agencies, every one of us may be subjected to all types of harassment. Everything that is now happening in Trump’s second term was predictable based on what he was doing during his previous four years in office. This resulted in two justified Impeachment trials as detailed in my second book titled Donald Trump’s Impeachment Problems. Will there be a third and final Impeachment of this President?
